Government Affairs Committee Meeting

This month’s meeting will feature Lisa Miura, Administrator, County of Hawaii Real Property Tax Division and Steven Hunt, County Finance Deputy Director. They will be sharing about the commercial/industrial tax increases and the portion of the Hawaii County Code that their departments have to follow on valuations. They will also go over the appeal process and answer any questions you may have.

The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) monitors legislative measures at all levels of government that may affect the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, its members, or the business community in general.

Meetings are usually held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 11:30am via Zoom (dates and times subject to change)
